Rajadhani Business School organised a Round Table Discussion on the topic The Future Work Place: A Reality on 1 September, 2016. The programme was attended by MBA Trimester 1 students. The speakers for the session were Mr. Bhoodes, Chairman, Indian Cashew Federation, Mr. Ramanath S, President, Former Chief Executive Officer, Technopark, Mr. Kenny Jacob, Chief Executive Officer, Ayruz Digital Marketing Inc., Mr. Bhaskar Prasad, Assistant Director, EY and Mr. Rakhin P Raj, Sr. Manager, QUEST Ltd. Dr R Sathikumar, Principal, RIET and the guests of honour lighted the holy lamp as the ceremonial beginning of the programme.

In the round table, each and every speaker expressed his views and opinions about the future work place and the key issues related to that. Mr. Bhoodes opined that the ability to change and customize the workplace quickly will be the agenda of success in future. Mr. Ramanath S, Former Chief Executive Officer, Technopark specified that showcasing a person’s passions and unique personality in the workplace will be even more important in the future. Mr. Kenny Jacob, Chief Executive Officer, Ayruz Digital Marketing Inc stated that planning for future change is never easy. It need a through preparation and understanding. Mr. Bhakar Prasad is of the opinion that in a global community, technology makes connecting with others easier. He stated that the “mobile workforce” is now being referred to as a “connected workforce.” Mr. Rakhin P Raj, Sr. Manager, QUEST Ltd stated that a new wave of young leaders is changing the way companies do business. The session was moderated by Prof Rajit K Nair, Director, Rajadhani Business School. On the occasion, iPads for MBA T1 students were also distributed.
